"Forgiving the Unforgivable" by Niramisa Weiss

NEW RELEASE
Forgiving the Unforgivable:
Removing the Obstacles to Love
by Niramisa Weiss

Description
It is one thing struggling to forgive our nearest and dearest those foolish squabbles that leave us bitter and upset. But what about the big stuff; that which we cannot comprehend?
While we fail to understand why humans behave so atrociously, we must cherish the belief in 'evil' and harbour condemnation in our hearts for our fellows. And while there is any justification for condemnation, we will not know peace.
What if we were sure that every regrettable act any human being has ever committed was utterly unavoidable? What if we knew we would all do exactly the same given the same set of circumstances? What if we could finally see that the cause of all our woes is a simple error in thinking that everyone shares in equal measure?
The liar in the human mind is our one and only problem. When it is clear that 'evil' cannot be real and that every 'unforgivable' act is caused by a mistaken belief in falsity, our eternal innocence will be impossible to deny.
If God were real, we ask, how could He let these terrible things happen to the innocent? Let's find out why God has nothing to do with any of it, regardless of whether He exists or not.
Together, we will discard everything obstructing our awareness of love. Together, we will forgive the unforgivable.
Are you ready for the next perfect step?

Excerpt
Once upon a time, a famous composer wrote a piece of music that was so far outside the human collective consciousness’ definition of normality at the time, it sparked a riot when it premiered in Paris in 1913. Stravinsky’s orchestral ballet, The Rite Of Spring, provoked such an intense emotional reaction in the audience, the music became inaudible due to the uproar and chairs were even thrown around. This was not the same sort of irritation we feel when we hear banal Bieber ditties; no, this was more like an audience meeting alien beings on the musical stage. The newness shocked and terrified them, sending them into a tizzy. They did not know what they were doing.
At varying levels of intensity, this is how we all tend to react when deeply held and cherished lies are suddenly and unexpectedly questioned for truthfulness. We believe the liar’s thoughts are our own, so whenever its ideas are cross-examined, it senses attack and this fear of attack transfers onto our erroneous self-identification with it. We believe we are being personally attacked too. Notice that it is only the lies we cherish that cause us disgruntlement when challenged. When we are able to let go of them, we stop reacting angrily whenever proof is requested of us. But whenever we must defend these false positions, the intensity of our defensiveness can get out of control and cause us to act destructively and regrettably.
The most powerful lie we all believe is that we are separate from each other, completely isolated, alone, lonely and unable to communicate from within our tiny, vulnerable bodies. This lie is so ingrained in our thoughts, we rarely notice it is just an idea. The fact that every idea we have is shared is noticed even less frequently. And even though we are not consciously aware of the lie of separation, the liar insists we defend it constantly and, in order to do so, we utilise obvious or subtle differences as proof of separateness.
The ‘all we are is a body’ lie has never been brought to question, just like many other incontestable lies we believe. If we look back at some of our major perceptual achievements in the last century we will see that it is in uncovering lies about each other and discarding them where we have found the most peace. These false ideas had never previously been questioned for truthfulness and so caused us much pain.
We may believe in the equality of all human beings but, if we remain unaware of a deeply held belief, like those deleterious ideas we believed for eons, how might we be able to discard it? Even the religious, the ‘holy’ and the ‘righteous’, century by century, have proved themselves to be as insane as everyone else. And how can they not have been, given that the problem itself has evaded awareness.
The human mind is mostly unchartered territory because the loudest voice residing within it requires us to remain ignorant of it. Even so, the obvious is staring us in the face and it just takes a quiet glance with an open mind to see everything in a different light. One obvious truth is that, because we are able to communicate with each other, this necessarily means we share ideas and conscious thoughts. The ability to communicate is our gift as humans and means that minds are connected, not separate.
The connections that we make via consciousness are relationships with each other, regardless of how long or short they may appear to endure over time. Understanding that we are all in relationship with each other, constantly, unceasingly, is the key to freedom from separation. But, as long as we believe we are separate from each other, in any sense at all, our experience of true relationship will be thwarted.
Conscious collective communication can be seen in other species on the planet, for example in ant and bird communities - I’d love to know what the parrots are chattering about so zealously even though I’m sure it’s not particularly interesting. However, the human being is the only species which has taken this communication function to its logical conclusion. It is only the human that may free the mind from the belief in the physical boundary as prison and nihilistic destiny. Today, with the resources and opportunities at hand, we have projected the truth of our connectivity into the external world in the form of telecommunications and the Internet. This is the task of the human being; to take consciousness to the next level and understanding that we are in constant relationship with each other is what it is all about.
When we who have believed in our separation, our superiority and our inferiority for eons are finally told that nothing divides us apart from false ideas, we may initially react like the audience at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées a century ago. In fact, this is to be expected. We will bitterly, and maybe violently, defend our right to remain the top dog, and our right to remain the persecuted underling, until we can see that these ideas have no value and only serve to support suffering in the world. We may expect men to become enraged or offended when told that the beliefs they have accepted without question since birth are the aggressive labels that must inevitably lead to war, violence and the abuse of women across the world. Those men that feel they would not behave in such a way, and are deeply distressed and offended by the suggestion they are just like the mad rapist, have missed the point entirely. We use extreme examples beside subtle ones to point out that one error is the same as any other and that what our brother does in desperation and fear, we would also do given the same set of circumstances and beliefs.

About the Author
A few years ago, Niramisa devoted her life to the Plan as described in A Course In Miracles. Since then, she has been following instructions from Spirit as best she can. She works tirelessly to play her small part in the inevitable healing of the diseased mind of humanity; the only work she believes is worth doing.
She understands that what she has uncovered of our species-wide, perceptual pathology will often be met with anger and resentment, at first. Nonetheless, she continues on fearlessly with the work she has been assigned by 'Him Upstairs'.
Who knows where all of this might lead? Niramisa hopes and prays for peace for all human beings. She says:
"It is only on the approach to truth where we are fearful and may falter and turn back. But once the truth is clearly seen for what it is, there can be no fear anymore; just a quiet assurance that the easiest way out of the colossal mess we have made with our beautiful world has suddenly been revealed."
Niramisa has already written a detailed treatise explaining the nature of the liar in the human mind. The Liar was published in April 2013. Her latest release, Forgiving the Unforgivable, was published in February 2014.
