Review
I enjoyed this book
from start to finish. Alyssa is from a prominent coven of witches. She controls
fire. Her and her two best friends Lisa and Megan attend regular High School
until they graduate and can attend the witches school, cloaked for the most
part from their classmates. They don't mix with humans, but one day a human boy
not only sees Alyssa, but also speaks to her, while she is cloaked. She has to
find out how and why he can see her. As the story develops you find out how the
boy, Marc, comes into play. There are several exes, that come in to play and
not in a good way. As Alyssa and Marc grow closer they find out that, the
adopted Marc, does come from a witching family and he controls ice. Somehow she
loses her fire and starts controlling ice as well. I love the fact that the
book doesn't just concentrate on the magic. Alyssa racing her awesome Shelby
Mustang is fantastic and something that most teens would kill to do. This is a
fun book and I want to see where the story goes next. (By Heather L. Alexander)
